minutesDuring the holiday season and all the hustle that comes with it, I always look for simpler ways to make classic dishes. And, I admit, I do this even when I don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen.
With Easter approaching and the menu likely already planned, I wanted to give a little help to those who may not be big fans of lamb, but still want something hearty, flavorful, and very aromatic.
Nothing complicated, everything cooks quickly, and the bonus is that it all happens in a single pot. In the end, you get exactly the kind of “home-cooked comfort food” that warms the soul.
Oh, and the most important part: the multicooker I used is this gem, the Heinner Alacarte 5, and believe me, it’s perrrfect — and it looks great in the kitchen too.
Alright, let’s get started and I’ll show you just how fast this comes together!
Ingredients
750 g pork neck
400 g homemade smoked sausages
250 ml homemade tomato sauce
250 ml smooth tomato purée
1 bunch of green onions + 1 bunch of green garlic
250 ml dry white wine
2–3 garlic cloves (optional)
1 bunch of fresh dill
30 ml oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation method
- If you don’t have a multicooker, no problem. You can make this stew in a regular pot as well, it will just take a little longer and you’ll need to stir it more often. The secret is to let the meat soften gently and the sauce thicken beautifully.

- We start by gently heating the oil in the multicooker or in your pot. Once the oil is hot, we add the pork neck and brown it together until it develops a beautiful, flavorful color.
Next, we add the sliced sausages and let them cook for a few minutes to release their flavor, stirring gently so the aromas blend together.

- We pour in the white wine and let it simmer until the alcohol evaporates, filling the kitchen with rich aromas.
Then we add the tomato sauce and purée, season with salt and pepper, and cover the pot. We let the stew cook until the meat is almost done, enjoying how the flavors come together.

- After about 20 minutes, we uncover the multicooker or pot and add the green onions, green garlic, and a few garlic cloves, letting everything simmer gently until the meat becomes tender and the sauce thickens.
At the end, we add the fresh dill and adjust the salt and pepper, tasting and fine-tuning together until we achieve the perfect flavor.

- We serve the stew hot, alongside steaming polenta or fresh bread, and sprinkle a little fresh dill on top. It’s perfect for a family meal, for quiet moments, and for anyone who loves authentic, home-cooked dishes, just like they used to be… back when we were kids!

- This simple and flavorful stew is the kind of recipe that instantly becomes a family favorite. Whether you cook it in a multicooker or a regular pot, the result is always delicious, tender, and full of flavor. Enjoy!
