minutesSome desserts don’t need much explanation: just a few simple ingredients, a reliable appliance, and the desire to enjoy something delicious without spending half the day in the kitchen. That’s exactly how this pie started. I had phyllo sheets, a Müller Stracciatella yogurt catching my eye in the fridge, some forgotten frozen berries, and the Heinner 10 L Air Fryer ready to do the hard work. I decided to test it for desserts too—because why not?
What did I end up with? A dessert with a creamy center, a crispy top layer, and flavors that feel like a perfect mix of comfort food with a touch of indulgence. The lower temperatures in a large air fryer help a lot: the sheets brown evenly, while the inside stays fluffy without drying out. It’s the kind of recipe you’ll want to make over and over, especially when you have an appliance that lets you cook without stress.
Ingredients
1 pack of phyllo pastry sheets
250 g Müller Stracciatella yogurt
80 ml milk
2 eggs
4–5 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
150 g frozen berries
3–4 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation method
- For this recipe, you can use heat-resistant baking dishes suitable for the Air Fryer: heatproof glass (like Pyrex), metal, or ceramic. I used a glass dish, and it worked perfectly, distributing the heat evenly and allowing the pie to brown beautifully.

- We start by preparing the baking dish, ideally 22–24 cm in diameter, greasing it with melted butter or oil to prevent the pastry from sticking. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract. Dissolve the cornstarch in cold milk.

- Add the Müller Stracciatella yogurt and the cornstarch-milk mixture, then mix everything until smooth. Unwrap the phyllo pastry sheets and get ready to assemble the pie.

- Place the first two phyllo sheets at the bottom, slightly crumpled, brush them with melted butter, and pour a few tablespoons of the filling over them. Repeat the process, this time adding some berries on top of the filling, but not too many. Continue this way until all the filling is used. On top, arrange the remaining phyllo sheets loosely, crumpled or even torn, and brush with butter without pressing, so the pie turns out crispy.

- If you have a little patience, the pie will cut much more neatly after it has cooled slightly. You can dust it with sugar for extra flavor (optional) or serve it as is. All that’s left is to enjoy it and celebrate your success. See? Pie works perfectly in the Air Fryer, and it’s not complicated at all—just extremely simple to make.
